Based on the responses to the question initially posed by Carlos at Peapack, I’m wondering if we should schedule an ACH roundtable session at our Spring meeting. Topics included could be:
Same day ACH – have you implemented? How’s that going?
ACH annual reviews/annual risk assessments – what’s your practice? Would anyone be willing to share their procedure/forms?
RDC annual reviews/risk assessments – same as ACH
Thoughts? Would anyone be willing to lead the discussion, and/or share their bank’s process?
We’re also trying to schedule a roundtable on Treasury Management, if we can get a JHA resource. For those banks that have implemented TM, would you be willing to discuss the product, your experience with implementation,
customer feedback, etc.?

QNB’s approach is similar to Janet’s as well – No inspection or self-assessment for ACH, however, we do site visits and self-assessments for RDC on a rotating type of schedule depending on how long
they have had the service.

Our approach is similar to Janet’s. We look at ACH volumes actually conducted to see if limits should be adjusted. We have an annual RDC self-assessment form that we just implemented
at the end of 2018.

We do not have a form used for ACH annual reviews. We look at the year of activity in the ACH system and verify the limit we have set seems appropriate. We note if they had any need to go overlimit
(which requires approval), account balances, OD history, issues with process, returns etc. We do not do a site inspection or self assessment for ACH. We do require that for Remote Banking though.
