I can tell you that JHA is working on a report for balancing. As of now, they do not have any guidance on how to balance. They are still referring to the “old” reports, but since FM has changed what they are taking, those do not work.
In the interim, we have been primarily using LNS32AP. We are only transferring data to FM twice a month – on the 1st and on the P&I determination date.
Yesterday, we discovered the interest FM is drafting on the 16th is the interest for the month of the draft, so this total is not able to be verified until the month end. (i.e. The draft on 7/16 for interest, is the interest
due on all of the loans for the month of July. That total shows on the LNS32AP report we ran on 8/1 for the month ending 7/31)
The principal of the P&I draft, can be verified by subtracting the “extra” principal drafted the prior month from the principal total on the LNS32AP from the end of the month. The ;’extra’ principal is the total principal from the P&I
determination file.
We have been working very diligently to match the draft’s because FM doesn’t seem to have things together on their end either so I don’t trust their amounts. I think what I described above is actually working. The true test will be next
month, now that we have figured this out.

Does anyone know if the reports we were using to balance before the cutover process have changed? I’m am still trying to use Freddie’s MAS and the following Jack Henry reports:
LNS31FP – Daily Investor Loan Totals
LNS365P – Custodial Account Cash Analysis
LNS375DP – Custodial Account Analysis Detail
LNS31AP – Investor Loan Trial Balance
I am coming pretty close to balancing, but can’t seem to figure out where my outages are coming from. I’m starting to wonder if Jack Henry’s reports are off due to the extended cycle for June, or if I am just
missing a new report.
