Good Afternoon all….

 

We’re new to SL, only been on it for about 5 months…  hoping someone may be able to shed some light on Initial Escrow Acct Disclosure… 

 

When adding escrow to an existing loan; the Initial Escrow Account Disclosure Statement does not print.  We opened a case with SL Support and were told – “that is how SL works.”  SL will print the disclosure when uploading a new loan with escrow but when adding escrow to an existing loan, it doesn’t print.  We reached out to our Compliance vendor and they’ve researched and found this is a “required” disclosure whenever you’re adding escrow to an existing loan and site the following -  ยง 1024.17(c)(2)         201410-initial_escrow_disclosure_explainer.pdf (consumerfinance.gov)

 

Wondering if any of you have same issue/concern and if so are you willing to share your process or workaround?

 

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
