Good afternoon,

If you have multiple beneficiaries on an IRA but one doesn’t want to submit any information for their portion of the distribution, how do you go about making the payments to the other beneficiaries? They are supposed to get equal amount as designated but the CD will continue to accrue interest if it isn’t closed. We also don’t have a social security number for this beneficiary to create a CIF. I have never had this situation happen in the past. Anyone else have one similar?

I tried going to Idea Lab to submit this but couldn’t find our group.
