We only offer Return as the default option; while the system allows both Pay and Return default options, in order to keep the program simple, and since we do not have any customers asking for it, we tell our customers that Return is the default, and our agreements reflect that as well.  In the future we may allow a Pay default if there is a business need, however not offering the option removes the need to track who is return, who is pay, and to not confuse the matter for our Cash Management and Operations teams during onboarding/processing/reviews.
