We create a separate CIF for the entity. We have a Tax ID Type of X – Not Required that we use for the entity.
When opening the account, we have the Entity and the owner in Parties to the Account.
On the Assign Relationships Tab:
We use this same process for Revocable Living Trusts in which the Grantor wants to use their Social Security Number.
