I’d be interested in hearing from anyone that is doing this today and how accurate the endorsement review is and how many items you have suspended to review daily based on this.  We’ve not yet implemented as there are possible concerns about level of accuracy. 

 

I’d also be interested in understanding how others are handling a review of mobile deposit items for risk.  Do you look at items over a certain dollar amount?  If so when/how are you reviewing? How do you handle checks that are not deposited to accounts of the payee?

We are looking into implementing restrictive endorsement for RDA deposits, it is my understanding that we can not enforce it for RDC check deposits. 

 

We are looking into either, "For mobile deposit at HAB Bank" or "For mobile deposit only". 

 

These suspended checks will require a manual review as per Smart pay prior to exporting X9 file and items that do not meet the requirement will need to be rejected. We are still trying to wrinkle out the details.
