We do not have the system set to move anything automatically to non-accrual.    My collection department makes the determination of what should be moved and when.

Subject: SilverLake MA-RUG Accrual VS Non-Accrual

Good Afternoon All,

What is your process for commercial mortgage loan accrual vs non-accrual?

For example, currently when a loan goes 90 days past due, the system places the loan in non-accrual status. If/when a payment is made that reduces the past due days below 90, the system will place the loan in accrual status.

Is this the process you use, or do you treat your commercial mortgages differently based on risk rating, DSCR, covenant monitoring, etc.?  If so, how do you track accrual vs non-accrual for those loan types; manually?

Thanks
Greg
