This is what we do:
How are your Bounce activation tests defined?
Minimum of 2 deposits that will total 1½ times the bounce amount tied to the account service
charge type. New account must be open for 60 days before the bounce will activate.
Do you revoke pending status after a set number of days?
When the activation tests are not met the bounce is revoked after 65 days.
Do you mandate the fresh start payments to be auto draft? If not, how do you handle them?
We do not use the fresh start program at this time. We have an internal collections process in
place that we are using.
How are your fresh start accounts defined for GL grouping or interface codes?
Not sure if this was ever set up since we do not use this part of the program.
Thank You

Subject: [!!Mass Mail]SilverLake MA-RUG Bounce Protection/Fresh Start
Hi,
We are in the process of defining our parameters for the JHA Bounce Protection and Fresh Start products and would like some input as to what other banks might be doing for this.
We would like to automate as much as we can and reduce some of the manual processes, if possible.
We are open to having a phone conversation, as we may have more questions. Here are a few:
How are your Bounce activation tests defined?
Do you revoke pending status after a set number of days?
Do you mandate the fresh start payments to be auto draft? If not, how do you handle them?
How are your fresh start accounts defined for GL grouping or interface codes?
I appreciate any feedback or experiences you would like to share with us.
Thanks,
Michelle Lake
