How is everyone handling their NSF list daily? Currently, we don’t print NSF notices – our CSR’s contact each customer on the NSF list and alert them of the item, and (based on the resolution, i.e. the customer
bringing in cash before 11:00) they either pay or return the item.
Over time, this task has become more and more time consuming. We’d like to stop calling customers, but replace it with an alert or notice that would be emailed to the customer on the day the item is presented,
as opposed to the following day (when the NSF notice would generate). Right now JHA doesn’t have any viable options – how are other banks addressing this?
