Historically, we did not follow the same process for business card disputes as we did personal card disputes.  We did turn the corner on that a while back after reading the zero liability protection verbiage under MasterCard.  I placed a call to MC and was advised that we should offer all cards the same protections regardless of personal or business.  Auditors have never found an issue in the way we had excluded business cards (but they are looking at a consumer reg) so it was not until we read some informative articles that we started investigating.  Then you have to look at the agreements you have for Visa or MC.

I too would be curious to hear how other institutions are handling business card disputes.   Thanks

Subject: SilverLake MA-RUG Business Debit Card Disputes

I have a question about how everyone is handling cardholder disputes for business debit cards.  I have reached out to Visa to get some clarification as to whether business debit cards are protected under Visa zero liability.  I did not get a clear answer.

I know that Business Cards are not covered under Reg E, but the confusion lies in Visa.

Was curious in what other Banks are doing in Visa Debit Card Disputes.

Thanks,
