We have our CD Type Codes set up with a range of terms and Dormant/Escheat Parameters for all type codes as follows:

 

 

24-35 Month CD Type – Example 24 Month Term

 

Issue Date – 7/3/2007

24 Month Term

Maturity Date – 7/3/2009

Auto Renews for 24 Months

Next Maturity Date – 7/3/2011

 

Last Activity Date 7/3/2007

Last Contact Date 7/3/2007

 

Dormant Date = 1095 Days (3 years) from either:

            1st Maturity Date – 7/3/09                                 = 7/3/2012

Or        Last Activity Date (in this example still 7/3/09)  = 7/3/2012

Or        Last Contact Date (in this example still 7/3/09)  = 7/3/2012

 

 

Escheat Status Date = 31 Days from Dormant Date = 8/3/2012

Was wondering if anyone has CD Type Codes set up for a range of terms…..like 12-23 month, 24-35 month, (etc.), if so, how are you calculating the numbers for the dormant parms? Since the term can be variable on the account level within that type code, which number are you using?
