Asking another question to the card group. When you review the list of expiring cardholders, do you remove cards from reissue due to non-use for a certain period of time?  If you do, do you send a letter to the cardholder letting them know you are reviewing and notice they haven't used it?  If anyone has a letter, would the be willing to share?

We delete/hot card any cards not used for the previous year.  We received a few pushbacks from cardholders asking why they were not asked if they still want the card.  I've gotten this type of letter from credit card companies but it's been a long time.
